Research was conducted on the effects of vibration training on cellulite in the well known Sanaderm health clinic in Germany. Six months of training a maximum of 11 minutes on the vibration platform reduced cellulite by 25.68 %. Another group that also included 40 minutes of cardio experienced a 32 % reduction. This study clearly showed that the effects were mostly due to vibration training.

In Idaho, a study evaluated the effect of vibration training in comparison to conventional training over a period of 6 weeks. Body fat % was reduced by 11.2 % compared to 10.6% in the conventional training group. Not only was body fat reduction was greater, but the exercise time was also considerably less.
